Membrane Roofing

Contour offer multiple options of waterproofing membrane products to provide a solution for low pitch flat roofs that may not be suitable for use of long run or tile roofing options, internal gutters and deck areas.  Waterproofing membrane products give the opportunity to allow more flexibility in the design of your building.

The minimum pitch required for traditional metal roofing material is 3°, synthetic rubber membrane roofing however, can be applied to much lower pitched roofs, allowing flexibility in design and construction. There are also various products available for use on deck areas, internal gutters, tanking applications, and almost anything that needs waterproofing.

Butynol

Ardex Butynol is a cost effective single layer membrane system used extensively throughout the New Zealand construction industry. It is available in thicknesses of either 1.0mm or 1.5mm, and black or grey colours. Contour’s accomplished team can use butynol to waterproof flat roofs, internal gutters, deck and balconies.

TPO

TPO is a single sheet PVC membrane with the added benefit of welded seams. A grey membrane, available in 1.5mm and 1.14mm thicknesses, TPO is a perfect product for higher spec homes and commercial applications. Contour’s specialist applicators can apply TPO to flat roofs, internal gutters, deck and balconies.

Torch On

Contour supply and install both Equus and Nuralite Torch On membrane systems. These two-layer asphalt waterproofing systems are used in a range of applications including, flat roofs, internal gutters, overlay warm roof upgrades, garden roofs, and tanking. Torch on membrane is a versatile product, as the two layers are bonded together with heat to form a single homogenous skin which has outstanding durability and integrity, proven by decades of use in the most extreme of conditions. Where exposed the top layer is coated with a mineral chip to provide extra durability, and is available in a range of colours.
